The 2016-17 pre-season started for Arsenal, as the Gunners had a somewhat good match against the French Ligue 2 club Lens, despite the game finishing at a 1-1 score.
However, Arsenal looked like it could use some additions in their lineup and that’s what Arsene Wenger shared with the media as well. The Frenchman stated that the Gunners are definitely looking to make some transfers, as the club has been quite active on the market, but things are simply unpredictable.
Wenger even said that signing players is currently like a “poker game” and Arsenal will have to find a way to be good at poker in order to lure world class footballers.
